    To send money to an Alipay2 mobile wallet user in China, follow these steps:

    1. Log in to your profile and select Send money now.
    2. Enter send amount and select Alipay as the receive method.
    3. Choose how you want to pay
    4. Add in your receiver’s name, choose Alipay as the wallet service provide and enter the receiver’s wallet mobile number (mobile phone number).
    5. Select the purpose of your transfer and complete payment.
    6. The money will be paid out to the Alipay account of your receiver in China.

    You can send up to $7,000 USD online to bank accounts in China with Western Union. However, individual send limits may vary based on transfer history and products selected. Log in to your profile and check your current limit for sending money to China.

    How do I send money online to China?

    Follow these steps to understand how to send money to China online with Western Union:

    1. Register for a free profile. Then log in and select ‘Send now’ to start the transfer.
    2. Add in how much you want to send to your receiver and choose ‘China’ as the destination.
    3. Click on ‘Bank account’ to send funds straight into your receiver’s account. Enter their bank details6 or click their name for a repeat transfer.
    4. Alternatively, select ‘Alipay’ to send money straight to a mobile wallet and enter your receiver’s name and Alipay ID.
    5. Pay for your transfer to China with a credit4 or debit card, or via bank transfer.
    6. Your money is on its way. Look for an email receipt that includes a tracking number (MTCN) you can share with your receiver to both track your transfer.
    What do I need to send money online to China?

    To first register for a free profile, you need a valid US driver’s license, passport or government-issued ID, alongside personal information such as your address. When it comes to sending money to China, you’ll also require your receiver’s bank name and bank card number, or their Alipay ID – if sending to a mobile wallet. You also need a valid and working payment method: a debit or credit card or a bank account.
