To receive a Maya money transfer, your recipient must have a fully registered Maya account. Once the transfer is sent, they simply need to open the Maya app, tap “Cash in”, enter the provided MTCN and click “Receive”, the funds will be automatically deposited into their wallet. Maya will notify them in the app and SMS message once the money has been successfully credited. Recipients can receive funds up to the wallet and account limits set by Maya.
