    How do I send money online to Ghana?
    1. Start by registering for a free profile or logging in. Click ‘Send now’.
    2. Enter ‘Ghana’ as your destination and set your transfer amount.
    3. Select ‘Bank account’ or choose a previous receiver.
    4. Pay with your debit or credit3 card.
    5. Get your tracking number (MTCN). Share this with your receiver so they can collect their funds in Ghana.
    How do I send money to Ghana from a Western Union agent location?
    1. Find a Western Union agent location near you.
    2. Visit the agent location and head to the counter.
    3. Present your government-issued ID, passport or drivers’ license, as well as your receiver’s bank details and address.
    4. Pay with your credit3 or debit card or by cash.
    5. Your money will then be transferred. Collect your MTCN number to track your transfer and share with your receiver.

    How much money can I send online to Ghana?

    After ID verification, you can send up to £5,463.69 to your receiver in Ghana for cash pick up or a direct bank transfer. If they want to receive the funds in a mobile wallet, the transfer will need to be less than £1,950 or the equivalent in Ghanaian cedi.
