How do I send money online to Netherlands?

Sending money to Netherlands is easy by following these simple steps:

    1. Register or log in to your Western Union profile, then press ‘Send money’ to start the transfer process.
    2. Once on the ‘Send money’ page, select Netherlands as your transfer destination.
    3. Choose your receiver and payment method, this is where you’ll receive a full breakdown of your money transfer. Click ‘Continue’ once you’re happy.
    4. Enter the receiver’s details and finalise your money transfer. Or select a previous receiver for a repeat transfer.
    5. You’ll then receive a unique tracking number (MTCN) with your receipt. You and your receiver can use this to track your transfer.
What do I need to send money online to Netherlands?

To send money to Netherlands online, there’s some information you’ll require:

    • A type of government-issued UK identification, like a driver’s license or passport to sign up for a Western Union profile.
    • Your total money transfer amount.
    • The receiver’s full name, bank details if sending to a bank account, purpose of transfer and the source of your funds.
How do I send money to Netherlands from a Western Union agent location?

Before you can transfer, make sure you find your nearest or most convenient agent location using our location finder. Then, follow these steps:

    1. Show a form of identification to the agent at the desk, a form of UK-issued government ID, or your registered phone number.
    2. You’ll then be required to provide proof of your source of funds to pay for your transfer.
    3. Once finalised, you’ll receive a unique tracking number (MTCN.) Hold onto this and share it with your receiver.

You also have the option of starting your transfer on the app or online, before finalising your money transfer at an agent location near you. This means you can lock in the exchange rate online and experience a faster checkout in-store. Make sure you bring your photo ID and complete the money transfer within 24 hours.
