    When sending money to Israel online and the receiving currency is ILS, you can transfer up to approximately 8,000 GBP no matter the payment method or whether the money transfer is being received via cash pickup or to a bank account. If you want the receiving currency to be USD, then you can only send money for cash pickup. To pay with cash in store, you can send up to 5,000 GBP for both ILS and USD.

    How do I send money online to Israel?

    To send money to Israel you first need to register or log in to a Western Union profile, then:

    1. Click ‘Send money’ and select Israel as your transfer destination. Then enter the amount you wish to send and whether you want the receiving currency to be in ILS or USD.
    2. Choose the methods of receipt and payment for you and your receiver.
    3. Review your estimate and proceed to the next page by clicking ‘Continue’.
    4. Enter the receiver details requested. At this point you’ll also need to provide the purpose of transfer and source of funds information.

    • A valid email address.
