The tourism dollar is more expensive than the commercial dollar, as it incorporates some costs, such as taxes, importation of paper money, administrative costs, logistics, among others. For amounts greater than R$ 10,000, payments must be made via DOC/TED or PIX from the same holder of the operation, and deposits or payments directly at bank branches are not accepted.
In the purchase of foreign currencies, transactions of less than BRL 10,000 can be paid with cash, and/or bank transfer (DOC/TED or PIX) from the account of the holder of the boleto. For amounts greater than R$ 10,000, payment in cash is not allowed.
Regardless of the amount, operations must be paid via bank transfer (DOC/TED or PIX) from the account of the boleto holder.
PIX: 30 minutes
TED: 2 hours after sending the receipt by email.
DOC: Maximum deadline 2 working days
