Send money from Germany to Serbia

To transfer money to Serbia via our website, log in to your Western Union account or sign up for a free profile. Once you are logged in, complete the following steps:

1. In the input field, select Serbia as the destination country and enter the amount you want to send.
2. Choose how your receiver will pick up the money. Here you have the options of cash pickup, Mobile Wallet² or a transfer to a bank account.
3. Now you can choose how you want to pay for the transfer, e.g. via credit² or debit card, Klarna, Apple Pay^®/Google Pay™ or bank transfer.
4. If you have selected both options, check the breakdown of our transfer fees³ and estimated transfer times. If you are happy with this, confirm your entries.
5. Either select a previously saved recipient or enter details for your new recipient in Serbia, including their full name and contact information.
6. Enter your payment details to secure and complete the money transfer. After confirmation, check your email receipt for your unique transfer tracking number (MTCN).

If you want to transfer money to Serbia, the following maximum amounts apply to selected payment and receipt methods at Western Union:

• Bank transfer to a bank account – EUR 50,000
• Collection in cash – EUR 5,000
• Transfer on a card – EUR 2,200

If you transfer money by bank transfer, your recipient will receive the money in about one to four days. If the money is sent with Klarna or a credit² or debit card, the money may be transferred to Serbia the same day but can take up to two days.

You can also send money to Serbia in person from one of our many agent locations. Just do the following:

1. Use our online search to find your nearest agent location.
2. Bring your ID card or passport, telephone number and recipient’s details.
3. Pay for your transfer in cash, with Klarna or with a German credit² or debit card.
4. Check your receipt to find your unique transfer tracking number (MTCN). Share this with your recipient and use the transfer tracking number to track your transfer to Serbia.
