To make an online money transfer to Spain, just follow these steps:

1. Log in to your Western Union^® profile or register and verify. Begin your money transfer to Spain by clicking ‘Send now’.
2. Type in ‘Spain’ as the destination and how much you wish to send. You’ll be able to view typical transfer times as you make your selections.
3. Click on ‘Bank account’. You’ll then have the choice of selecting an existing receiver or entering bank account details³ for a new one.
4. Pay for your money transfer by bank transfer or Pix.
5. Look out for a confirmation email containing a tracking number (MTCN). This can then be shared with your receiver in Spain to help track the money.

You’ll need a valid government-issued ID or passport to register online with Western Union^®. When sending money to Spain, your receiver’s account number, and the purpose of the transfer are required. We might also ask for additional information about your source of funds and occupation, depending on the amount of money you would like to send, when making a ‘large amount’ money transfer.

To transfer money to Spain from a Brazil agent location, simply:

1. Search for an agent location close to your home.
2. Take a valid government-issued ID. You’ll also need to show your receiver’s bank and account details or the phone number associated with their digital wallet.
3. Use cash, a bank-issued debit card or Pix to pay for your remit to Spain.
4. Read the tracking number (MTCN) on your receipt, which can be shared with your receiver to follow their money.
