Send money online for a cash pickup

Your receiver can pick up your cash transfer at any of our 600+ agent locations1 in Togo, or at any of our hundreds of thousands of agent locations around the world.

  1. Open your profileRegister or log in, then choose the ‘Send Money’ option.
  2. Verify your profile. If you haven‘t verified your profile, go through the verification process first to be able to send money online.
  3. Fill in your money transfer details.  Choose ‘Cash pickup’ as the method for receiving money and make sure to include your receiver’s complete information2.
  4. Pay for the transfer.  You can pay with a debit, credit or a prepaid card (issued in WAEMU7 region) or with a bank transfer. If you choose the latter option, you will need to log in to your bank’s website and transfer the total amount to Orabank’s account3  in order to complete the transaction.
  5. Track your transfer. On your receipt page, you will find your tracking number (MTCN), which you can use to track your transfer.
  6. Inform your receiver. Share the MTCN with your receiver and let them know that the cash is ready for pick-up at one of our agent locations. Do not disclose your money transfer details to anyone except your intended receiver.
Send money online to a bank account

You can send money directly to your receiver’s bank account around the world. You may also check our direct-to-bank country information to know if this service is available in your destination country.

  1. Know your receiver’s bank details. Typically, you’ll need your receiver’s bank name and code, as well as their bank account number. Learn more about what bank details are needed4.
  2. Open your profileRegister or log in, then choose the ‘Send Money’ option.

  4. Fill in your money transfer details.  Choose ‘Bank transfer’ as the method for receiving money and make sure to include your receiver’s complete information2.

  2. Fill out your money transfer details. Enter the destination, amount and other necessary details, then choose “Pay Cash in store” as a payment method.
  3. Enter your receiver’s details. Your receiver details will be saved for convenient repeat transfers.
  4. Pay in store. Visit one of the Western Union agent locations with a valid government-issued ID and pay for the transfer in cash.
  5. Track your transfer. Upon successful payment, you’ll be given a receipt with your tracking number(MTCN), which you can use to track your transfer.
  6. Inform your receiver. Share the MTCN with your receiver and let them know that the cash is ready for pickup at one of our agent locations. Do not disclose your money transfer details to anyone except your intended receiver.

3 The transaction will be released only if the payment is received between 9:00 AM & 3:30 PM during bank working days; any transfers which are done thereafter will be only released on the next working day.

4 Please use care when providing bank account information. Funds will be paid into the bank account corresponding to account number you provide. The receiver’s account must be a local currency pay-out account.
