Although we’ve put a pause on earning new points, you can still enroll and redeem existing points. Sign up for free today to hear what’s coming next.
To enroll in the My WU loyalty program:
- Create a Western Union profile on westernunion.com or our mobile app and get your KYC done before enrolling into My WU program, learn more about it here.
- Log in to Western Union profile on westernunion.com or our mobile app and select the My WU checkbox. This will generate a Rewards number that will be used on all digital transfers. You can create your profile without sending a money transfer.
- Already have a profile? Log in and select the My WU tab on the top right side of the page. Accept the program terms and conditions and you will be assigned a My WU number.
Yes, if you have enough rewards points, you can continue to redeem them to get the reward like before as they expire per T&Cs. There are no changes to the redemption functionality and the rewards points redeemed as discounts will be automatically applied to a money transfer as usual. All the outstanding points in your account will remain valid and expire as per T&Cs.

3Double My WU℠ points will be calculated for My WU℠ members for money transfers completed online at WU.com or via the Western Union® app between between April 12 and May 12, 2021. No limit to money transfers’ amount. Valid for money transfer to these countries: Afghanistan, Algeria, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, DRC, Egypt, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, India, Indonesia, Ivory Coast, Jordan, Kenya, Kosovo, Lebanon, Malaysia, Mali, Morocco, Niger, Pakistan, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Sri Lanka, Togo, Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates.
4Fee reductions apply only to the Western Union® transfer fee for a single Western Union Money Transfer® or Quick Collect® transaction. Excludes all other services, including without limitation, online bill payments, and money transfers via social/chat applications. Points used will not be reversible and if amount of transfer fee is less than redeemed discount, no cash, credit or refund will be provided. Western Union reserves the right to offer promotional discounts that cannot be combined with My WU® fee reductions. Western Union also makes money from currency exchange.
UK POST transactions do not qualify as eligible for the My WU program where members can earn points for transfer fee discounts and other rewards.
