    How to send money to an Alipay & Weixin user in China?

    Send money directly in Alipay wallet

    Residents of China can have the money (in RMB) sent directly into their bank card that’s linked to Alipay or Alipay wallet balance.
    The sender simply needs to choose the ‘Mobile Wallet’ service and then select ‘Alipay’ as wallet service provider, then provide the following information:
    Receiver’s full name
    Wallet mobile number
    Purpose of transaction

    How to receive money through Alipay:

    1. Ensure you installed Alipay app and registered with your Chinese mobile number.
    2. You will receive a sms message and Alipay in-app notification that the money has been sent.
    3. Search and enter ‘Quick Collect’ in the Alipay app.
    4. Complete the real-name verification.
    5. Choose receiving method: either a bank card linked to Alipay or Alipay wallet balance for receiving money.
    6. Complete the money transfer with confirmation.

      Subsequent money transfers will be deposited to your account directly.
