Verify your profile in Thailand

Verify your identity online through web or app.


After you have registered on the Western Union mobile app or westernunion.com, please follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to your profile.

  2. Select “Online verification” from the available options.

  3. Take photos of the below using your phone or web camera and upload them:

    • The ID document you used to register online

    • A selfie photo following the on-screen instructions (move head up, down, left...)

    After a successful verification, you will receive both email and SMS confirmations and you can start sending money immediately.

Visit your nearest Central Department Store agent location to get verified.


After you have successfully registered online, you will need to visit a nearby Central Department Store location to verify your identity. Please note that you need to bring the same government-issued ID you used to create your profile.

Once your identity is verified, you can start sending money immediately.
