Terms And Conditions
- Information on how to enter and the prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. By participating, participants agree to these Terms and Conditions.
- The promoter of this Promotion is Western Union located in 11/F One World Square, Upper McKinley Road, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City. All activities relating to marketing of the Promotion is done by Western Union Financial Services, Inc. (“Promoter”).
- The promo is open to all Philippine residents aged 18 years or above who have opted-in to participate in marketing programs (“Eligible Participants”). Employees and relatives within the second degree of consanguinity or affinity of Creative Affairs Team Inc and Western Union, Western Union® Agents and Sub-agents, and service providers/marketing agencies associated with this Promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child, or stepchild (whether natural or by adoption), parent, stepparent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, stepbrother, stepsister, or 1st cousin.
- This Promotion starts at 12:00am (AEST) on 1 June 2024 and ends on 11:59pm (AEST) on 31 December 2024 (“Promotion Period”). All transactions made after 11:59pm (AEST) on 31 December 2024 will not be accepted and will be considered invalid.
- All Eligible Participants who, during the Promotion Period, successfully sends a Western Union® Money Transfer in the amount of at least PHP10,000 from Philippines to any country outside the Philippines via one of the following Western Union channels will be eligible for an entry and get a chance to win up to P50K Philippine Airlines e-gift card (Travel voucher):
- Remittance sent for cash payout at retail locations
- Remittance sent for cash payout but receiver pulls into a mobile wallet
- Remittance sent through the receiver’s bank account
- There will be a total of 51 lucky winners of Philippine Airlines e-gift card (Travel voucher) as summarized in this table.

- The winning senders will be selected by random draw to be held monthly for the minor prize and on 13 January 2025 for the major prize at 4pm local time (GMT+8) via Zoom video call together with a Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) representative present.
- The winning senders will be notified via callout and registered mail.
- The PAL e-gift card (Travel voucher) will be sent to the winners’ identified and confirmed e-mail address.
- The PAL e-gift card (Travel voucher) is non-transferable and not convertible to cash.
- If this Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties or failures, unauthorized intervention or fraud, vandalism, power failure, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, disease, epidemics, pandemics or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any Eligible Participant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Promotion, as appropriate to give effect so far as reasonably possible to the original intent of this Promotion.
- Subject to any applicable laws which cannot be excluded, the Promoter and its related bodies corporate and agents associated with this Promotion shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained by anyone (including, but not limited to, direct or indirect loss, consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with this Promotion or any prize provided as part of this Promotion.

- Acceptance of any prize, benefit and/or offer provided by the Promoter will be deemed as consent by the winner(s) to take part in any related publicity and using their name, likeness, image and/or voice for advertising and other promotional purposes without compensation, except as otherwise prohibited by any applicable law.
- Western Union collects personal information (“PI”) in order to conduct the Promotion and may disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to regulatory authorities. Participants agree to provide this PI. The Privacy Statement also contains information about how Eligible Participants may opt out, access, update or correct their PI, and how Eligible Participants may complain about a breach of their privacy or any other applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt with. The Promoter will not disclose Eligible Participant’s personal information to any entity outside of the country in which it was originally collected. A request to access, update or correct any PI should be directed to the Promoter.
- To the extent that there is any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and other marketing materials or collateral produced in relation to this Promotion, these terms and conditions shall prevail.
- This is a randomized drawing for Western Union customers that is not intended to and should not influence any decisions or actions for the benefit of Western Union. The promotion is compliant with all applicable anti-bribery and corruption laws and regulations.
