WESTERN UNION® – NEW ZEALAND TO FIJI PROMOTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Information on how to enter and the gifts form part of these Terms and Conditions. By participating, participants agree to these Terms and Conditions.
  1. The promoter of this promotion is Western Union Customer Service Center, Level 10, Precinct Flex Britomart Place, Auckland 1010, New Zealand (“Promoter”).
  2. This promotion is open to all Western Union customers who are living in New Zealand aged 18 years or above (“Eligible Participants”). Employees and relatives within the second degree of consanguinity or affinity of Promoter and Western Union, Western Union® Agents and Sub-agents, and service providers/marketing agencies associated with this Promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
  3. This Promotion starts on12:00am (NZST) on March 24, 2026, and ends on 11:59pm (NZST) on May 4, 2026 (“Promotion Period”). All transactions made after 11:59pm (NZST) on May 4, 2026 will not be accepted and will be considered as invalid.
  4. All Eligible Participants who, during the Promotion Period, successfully transfer money from New Zealand to Fiji via the Western Union app or website, or participating agent Western Union locations in New Zealand (listed below), and who completed the following transaction requirement, will receive a Telco eVoucher with a value of FJD22 (“eVoucher”) (“Gift(s)”): two (2) transactions of a minimum of NZD 200 each (principal amount only). Participating Western Union agent Locations:
    • FEXCO/No.1 Currency
    • City Forex
    • Western Union participating locations
  5. All Gifts offered under this promotion are subject to availability. Stock is strictly limited, and Western Union makes no representation or guarantee that any particular Gift, item, or digital equivalent will remain available throughout the Promotion Period.
  6. Western Union reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, substitute, or withdraw any Gift at any time due to stock limitations, system constraints, or operational requirements, without prior notice.
  7. Customers will be eligible to redeem Gift under this promotion (whether through Retail or Digital channels) only if they have expressly opted in to receive marketing communications from Western Union as of the start date of the Promotion Period. For retail redemptions, opted in customers must provide a valid email address or phone number to receive communications regarding the promotion outcome. Unsubscribing from marketing communications at any time after entry will not affect eligibility or receipt of the Gift, provided all other qualifying conditions have been met.
  8. The eVoucher will be sent to the Eligible Participant via email. Each eVoucher will include a unique PIN and a URL directing the participant to the designated redemption portal. The Eligible Participant must enter the unique PIN on the portal and redeem the eVoucher against an eligible Vodafone or Digicel mobile number. eVouchers must be redeemed within two (2) months from the date of issuance.
  9. The Gift(s) are not redeemable for cash, and the eligible customer(s) shall be responsible for any tax arising on redemption. The vouchers are provided by a third party provider, subject to their respective terms and conditions as to product warranty. The third party provider will be responsible for any matters arising from or in connection with the vouchers, services, and/or information they provide in relation to which the Promoter will have no liability whatsoever. Any enquiry or complaint regarding the vouchers, services, and/or information should be directed to such third party provider. The Promoter will not be held liable to the quality and availability of the voucher, services and information provided by the third party provider, and excludes liability in connection with the Promotion once the winner(s) enjoys any benefit relating to the Promotion of the full extent permitted by law.
  10. Other regulations:
    1. Customers are paid in full the amount received from Western Union money transfer, and at the same time, Customers must strictly comply with the regulations committed to the Promoter regarding the Promotion.
    2. The Promoter must publicly and fully notify the Promotion program rules and Promotion period to Customers. Pay fully and accurately the amount received by the Customer from the Western Union money transfer.
    3. If this Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to vandalism, power failure, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes, unauthorised intervention, fraud, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any Eligible Participant (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate to give effect so far as reasonably possible to the original intent of this promotion.
    4. Subject to any applicable laws which cannot be excluded, the Promoter and its related bodies corporate and agents associated with this Promotion shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained by anyone (including, but not limited to, direct or indirect loss, consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with this Promotion or any Gift provided as part of this Promotion.
    5. Acceptance of any Gift, benefit and/or offer provided by the Promoter will be deemed as consent by the winner(s) to take part in any related publicity and using their name, likeness, image and/or voice for advertising and other promotional purposes without compensation, except as otherwise prohibited by any applicable law.
    6. Western Union collects personal information (“PI”) in order to conduct the Promotion and may disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, and, as required, to regulatory authorities. Participants agree to provide this PI. The use and handling of PI is seen in the Privacy Statement, which can be viewed at https://www.westernunion.com/content/wucom/global/en/privacystatement.html. The Privacy Statement also contains information about how Eligible Participants may opt out, access, update or correct their PI, and how Eligible Participants may complain about a breach of their privacy or any other applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt with.
    7. To the extent that there is any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and other marketing materials or collateral produced in relation to this Promotion, these terms and conditions shall prevail.
    8. This is a giveaway/gift with purchase engagement for Western Union customers. It is not intended to, and should not influence, any decisions or actions for the benefit of Western Union. The promotion is compliant with all applicable anti-bribery and corruption laws and regulations.
