Send money to Spain

You can send up to €5,000 from France to Spain for cash pickup when you pay by credit³/debit card or bank transfer or €6,000 when paying in cash. You can make a money transfer of up to €50,000 directly to someone’s bank account in Spain via bank transfer or up to €5,000 when paying by credit³/debit card.

To send money to Spain online, follow these simple steps:

1. Register or log in to your Western Union profile.
2. Click ‘Send now’ and choose Spain as the destination
3. Enter the amount you’d like to send and how you would like it to be received.
4. Choose your preferred payment method. An estimate of transfer fees and delivery times can be found on the right-hand side.
5. Pay for your money transfer.
6. Keep hold of your confirmation email with your MTCN tracking number.

To send money from France to Spain, you will need:

• Your full name and address;
• A form of government-issued ID;
• Your receiver’s full name, address, and bank details if choosing to send to a Spanish bank account.

1. Find your nearest Western Union agent location.
2. Show your valid government-issued ID at the counter and share the details of your loved one. Before making a transfer of money to Spain, you may need to provide proof regarding your source of funds. To help with this, please ensure you also take a bank statement, tax return, or payslip along with you.
3. Pay for your money transfer to Spain.
4. Keep track of your money transfer using the tracking number (MTCN) on your receipt.
