How can I receive my money in Argentina?

Receive money in cash

To pick up a money:

  1. Visit a service center.
  2. Provide the agent with the 10-digit tracking number (MTCN), your sender’s full name, the country where the money was sent from and expected amount.
  3. Give the agent the original government-issued ID and its photocopy, along with the tax identification number (CUIL/CUIT/CDI) if you are an Argentinian citizen.
  4. Review and sign the receipt.
  5. The agent will give you the money and a copy of the receipt.

To receive the money directly to your bank account in Argentina, the sender must provide your:

  • Full name
  • CUIL/CUIT/CDI number
  • Bank account details (bank name and CBU number)
  • Contact number

Receive money into Pago Fácil App:

To receive the money directly to Pago Facil wallet in Argentina, the sender must provide your:

  • Full name
  • Either your alias or your Clave Virtual Uniforme (CVU)

If the sender has already sent the money but did not provide your account information, you can:

  1. Open the Pago Fácil app
  2. Select Receive money
  3. Enter your tracking number (MTCN)

The funds will be credited as an available balance in your account.

How can I find out if a money transaction is ready for pickup?

To know if your money transaction is ready for pickup or has been paid, just select track transaction from the top of any page at westernunion.com, then enter your receiver’s name and the tracking number (MTCN).

What delivery methods does Western Union offer to receive money in Argentina?

Here’s how to pick up a money transfer:

  1. Visit an agent location.

How does Western Union payout money transfers?

You can receive your money transfer in cash at an agent location, or you can ask your sender to transfer the money directly to your bank account in Argentina. The sender should enter your bank account details (bank name, CBU number, and CUIL) at the moment of sending the money.

If you want the money to be transaction directly to your bank account after it has been sent for a cash payout, please send an email to depositoacuenta@wu.com indicating your full name, tracking number (MTCN), and your government-issued ID number.
