How to Send Money In Person

Sending money in person through Western Union is easy. Follow the simple steps below to find out how.

  1. Search for an agent location near you.
  2. Complete the Send Money form.
  3. Give the front line associate of the agent the completed form with the applicable funds (including transaction fee2) in cash.
  4. Save your receipt and Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN). Your receiver will need the MTCN for pickup and you’ll need it to track your transfer. Do not share the MTCN with anyone else but your intended receiver.
