2. Start your transfer
- Enter the destination country and the amount you’d like to send.

3. Enter your receiver’s details
- If you’re sending directly to a bank account, you will need your receiver’s bank name, code, and account number1.
- If you’re sending to a mobile wallet, enter your receiver’s name as it appears on their ID and other required details for a mobile wallet2 transfer.
- You can save your receiver’s details for convenient repeat transfers.

4. Pay and send
- Pay for your transfer with a debit, credit or a prepaid card (issued in WAEMU* region) or with a Senegal bank account.
- Check all the details before choosing send.
- You’ll get a confirmation email with the tracking number (MTCN). Use it to track your transfer and share it with your receiver only.


* WAEMU region includes Senegal, Ivory Coast, Mali, Niger, Togo, Benin, Bissau Guinea and Burkina Faso.

- Provide the agent with your full name and a valid government-issued ID.

3. Share your receiver’s details3
- Provide the agent with your receiver’s first name and surname, the destination country, and the exact amount you wish to send.
- Choose the payout method: cash or direct to bank based on your receiver’s country.

4. Pay and send
- Pay for your transfer with cash.
- You’ll get a receipt with the tracking number (MTCN). Use it to track your transfer and share it with your receiver only.

- Visit one of the participating Western Union agent locations with a valid government-issued ID to verify your profile.
- Pay for the transfer in cash.
- Upon successful payment, you’ll be given a receipt with your tracking number(MTCN). Use it to track your transfer and share it with your receiver only.

1 Please use care when providing bank account information. Funds will be paid into the bank account corresponding to the account number you provide. The receiver's account must be a local currency payout account.

2 Funds will be paid to receiver’s mWallet account provider for credit to account tied to receiver’s mobile number. Additional third-party charges may apply, including SMS and account over-limit and cash-out fees. Funds availability subject to terms and conditions of service. See Mobile Form for Restrictions.
