Transfers made easy
– If this is your first transfer, you’ll need to confirm your identity at the nearest Orabank agent location after creating your profile.
– Enter the destination country and the amount you’d like to send.
– Choose the payout method: cash, direct to bank, or mobile wallet based on your receiver’s country.
– If you’re sending directly to a bank account, you will need your receiver’s bank name, code, and account number1.
– If you’re sending to a mobile wallet, enter your receiver’s name as it appears on their ID and other required details for a mobile wallet2 transfer.
– You can save your receiver’s details for convenient repeat transfers.
– Pay for your transfer with a debit, credit or a prepaid card (issued in WAEMU6 region) or with a Senegal bank account.
– Check all the details before choosing send.
– You’ll get a confirmation email with the tracking number (MTCN). Use it to track your transfer and share it with your receiver only.
Send money on the go
– Download the Western Union® app on Apple Store or Google Play Store.
– Follow the steps in the app to create a profile with your mobile number.

– Provide the agent with your full name and a valid government-issued ID.
– Provide the agent with your receiver’s first name and surname, the destination country, and the exact amount you wish to send.
– Choose the payout method: cash or direct to bank based on your receiver’s country.
– Pay for your transfer with cash.
– You’ll get a receipt with the tracking number (MTCN). Use it to track your transfer and share it with your receiver only.
Walk in to send money
– Go to westernunion.com or open our app..
– Enter the destination country and the amount you’d like to send.
– Select “Pay cash in store” as the funding method.
– If you’re sending directly to a bank account, you will need your receiver’s bank name, code, and account number1.
– You can save your receiver’s details for convenient repeat transfers.
– Visit one of the participating Western Union agent locations with a valid government-issued ID to verify your profile.
– Pay for the transfer in cash.
– Upon successful payment, you’ll be given a receipt with your tracking number(MTCN). Use it to track your transfer and share it with your receiver only.
