To receive money through Bre-B, your receiver can provide the information associated with their Bre-B / Llave profile. Depending on the participating financial institution, this information may be linked to a phone number, email address, ID number, or another unique identifier.
Once you have your receiver’s information, you can send money through our app to participating financial institutions in Colombia.

How does Bre-B Work?
Bre-B makes it easy to send money to participating financial institutions in Colombia.
When sending money with Western Union online or via our app, simply select Bre-B / Llave and enter the information associated with your receiver’s Bre-B / Llave profile. Depending on the participating financial institution, a Bre-B account may be linked to:
- Mobile number
- Email address
- Identification number
- Unique code
Once you enter the information provided by your receiver, Bre-B helps direct the transfer to the appropriate participating account or digital wallet, making the process simple and convenient for both senders and receivers.
How to send money online using your receiver’s Llave?
Getting started is easy:
- Go to westernunion.com or to our app and select Send money.
- Choose Colombia as your destination country.
- Select bank account or digital wallet as the delivery method.
- Enter your receiver’s Llave (ID number, mobile number, email, or code).
- Review your transfer details, pay online, and send.
Once you’re done, we’ll process your transfer and keep you updated along the way.
