Yes. Existing online customers can use their login details to send money with the app.

New customers can register directly on the app for free. You will need to complete an identity verification before you can send money using the app.

What do I need to do to be able to send money using the mobile app?

If you are an existing online customer, you can use your existing login detail to access your profile on the mobile app.

New customers can register on the app in just a few minutes. You will need to verify your profile by requesting an agent visit at your home or work address after you log in to your profile. You may also get verified by providing a valid Bahrain National ID [Smart Card / CPR] at one of the NEC Agent location.

Does it cost anything to use the mobile app in Bahrain?

There’s no fee to download the app or to access the app from your mobile phone. However, mobile phone data access and calling charges will apply. Please contact your mobile phone network provider for the details.
