What do I generally need to send to a bank account?

Whenever you want to start a new wire transfer to a bank account, always make sure to have the following information handy. You may need some additional things depending on the destination bank and country.

1. Receiver’s details

Name and country of your receiver

2. Bank details

Bank’s name and bank code (BIC)

3. Account details

Receiver’s account number (IBAN)
