TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Information on how to enter and the prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. By participating the campaign, participants agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2. The Promoters of this Promotion are Bank of China, China Everbright Bank and Postal Savings Bank of China. All activities relating to marketing of the Promotion is done by Western Union Holdings, Inc. (“Western Union”).
3. This promotion is open to all residing mainland China, aged 18 years or above (“Eligible Participants”).
4. This Promotion starts on 00:00:00am (local time) on 1 January 2024 and ends on 23:59:59pm (local time) on 31 March 2024 (“Promotion Period”). All transactions made after 24:00pm (local time) on 31 March 2024 will not be accepted and will be considered as invalid.
5. All Eligible Participants who, during the Promotion Period, receive Western Union Money Transfer in the amount of at least USD 1000 or equivalent (principal amount) from global to China for a cash pickup can get a chance to win 20 RMB e-cash coupon.
6. There will be a total of 12,000 winners, 6,000 winners for receiving money at Bank of China, 3,000 winners for receiving money at China Everbright Bank, and  3,000 winners for receiving money at Postal Savings Bank of China. Offer valid while stocks last. The winners will be generated by each bank based on the sequential order of transaction completion, and transaction amount if there are transactions completed at the same time.
7. Winners will receive a text notification from banks no later than 15 May 2024. Customers need to ensure that their mobile number is the one registered with the bank. Each e-cash coupon is valid until 31 May 2024, and can be used for Weixin payments via debit card with Bank of China or China Everbright Bank, or Alipay payments via debit card with Postal Savings Bank of China.
8. E-cash coupons are provided by a third-party provider, winners received the text notification from bank can click a link and input a unique redemption code in the text message to redeem the e-cash coupon. The third-party provider will be responsible for any matters arising from or in connection with the prizes, services, and/or information they provide in relation to which Western Union will have no liability whatsoever. Any enquiry or complaint regarding the prizes, services, and/or information should be directed to such third-party provider. Western Union will not be held liable to the quality and availability of the prizes, services and information provided by the third-party provider, and excludes liability in connection with the promotion once the winner(s) enjoys any benefit relating to the promotion of the full extent permitted by law.
9. If this Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to vandalism, power failure, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes, unauthorised intervention, fraud, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any Eligible Participant (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate to give effect so far as reasonably possible to the original intent of this promotion.
10. Subject to any applicable laws which cannot be excluded, the Promoter and its related bodies corporate and agents associated with this Promotion shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained by anyone (including, but not limited to, direct or indirect loss, consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with this Promotion or any prize provided as part of this Promotion.

11. Acceptance of any prize, benefit and/or offer provided by the Promoter will be deemed as consent by the winner(s) to take part in any related publicity and using their name, likeness, image and/or voice for advertising and other promotional purposes without compensation, except as otherwise prohibited by any applicable law.
12. Western Union collects personal information (“PI”) in order to conduct the Promotion and may disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to regulatory authorities. Participants agree to provide this PI. The use and handling of PI is seen in the Privacy Statement, which can be viewed at [https://www.westernunion.com/content/wucom/global/en/privacy-statement.html]. The Privacy Statement also contains information about how Eligible Participants may opt out, access, update or correct their PI, and how Eligible Participants may complain about a breach of their privacy or any other applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt with. The Promoter will not disclose Eligible Participant’s personal information to any entity outside of the country in which it was originally collected. A request to access, update or correct any PI should be directed to the Promoter.
13. To the extent that there is any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and other marketing materials or collateral produced in relation to this Promotion, these terms and conditions shall prevail.
14. This is a giveaway/gift with purchase engagement for Western Union customers. It is not intended to, and should not influence, any decisions or actions for the benefit of Western Union. The promotion is compliant with all applicable anti-bribery and corruption laws and regulations.
