Only complete and submit this refund request if the Money Order has not been cashed. You will be able to verify the status of the Money Order before submitting the refund request.
If you decide to submit this request, make sure to include the following proof of purchase – scanned image/photo of either of the following is acceptable:
a) Money Order Receipt with barcode.
b) Money Order check.
Please retain a copy of all documents you provided for your records. If you do not have any of the above, you may include any other proof of purchase that you may consider necessary. This may include the original store receipt, accompanied by a copy of the police report that references the money order number.
Western Union will contact the purchaser whether the refund request is approved or rejected. A non-refundable processing fee per Money Order submitted is required to process this request. The applicable fee will be deducted from each Money Order if the request is approved, and the Money Order has not been cashed. Fees may vary depending on the face value of the Money Order.
