Receive Money in Person
With Western Union, you can receive money in cash at any of Western Union® Agent location. Just visit one near you with your government-issued ID. You'll also need to ask the sender for the tracking number (MTCN).
How to receive money at the Agent location?
Receiving money at Western Union® Agent location is easy. In order to pick up cash at the Agent location, you will be asked to provide this information:
- Your full name.
- Amount expected.
- Sender’s full name.
- Sender’s country.
- Money Transfer Control Number – MTCN.
- Acceptable ID document.
Acceptable IDs:
- Current passport
- National identity card
Other local requirements may be asked for by the Agent’s front line staff at the location.
Transfer limits for receiving money sent via Western Union® services:
- 2.000 USD (equivalent in UAH) per transaction
- 7.500 USD (equivalent in UAH) per week
- 15.000 USD (equivalent in UAH) per month
