Who are Western Union agents?

They’re Western Union representatives that you can approach in order to send or receive money. There are 8 banks in Thailand that offer Western Union services. In other countries, they may be banks, post offices, supermarkets, grocery stores, check cashers, mailbox centers, drug stores, travel agencies, depots, airports, train and bus stations, currency exchange offices, and other retailers.

What are the acceptable IDs for picking up money?

Receivers can present any valid government isssued ID to pick up cash at one of our agent locations. Acceptable IDs are subject to the Central Bank of Thailand rules and regulations.
