How do I send money from an agent location?

Just complete a money transfer form with the required receiver information, and give the agent an accepted form of government-issued photo ID and payment.

The agent will immediately process the transaction and give you a receipt with a tracking number (MTCN). Share the tracking number with your receiver so they can pick up the money.

What do I need to send money from an agent location?

You’ll need your receiver’s full name (as it appears on their ID) and address.

Beginning June 3, 2013, you’ll also need to show photo ID —a New Zealand driver’s licence, passport or firearms licence — every time you send money, regardless of the amount. In addition, beginning June 24, 2013, the first time you send or receive money you’ll need to show a combination of IDs and documents from this chart. After your first transaction, you’ll only need a photo ID to send money.
