Send money directly to a carded bank account in China

As a part of those efforts, we've introduced a new service to send money directly to a carded bank account* for those sending money to China from Italy for a 0 EUR transfer fee*.


The best method for you

Our new service is designed to help you in your money sending needs, whether it's to help family out back home, for business, or just to send a special gift to a friend. As such, we've prepared the option for sending money directly to a carded bank account* ie account associated with a UnionPay debit card (with 62 prefix). Just make the transfer and your recipient will receive their money in CNY directly to their bank account* in 5 days, all for a 0 EUR transfer fee.*



Info needed to send money to a carded bank account in China

There are a few details we need to know about the person you're sending to, just to make sure that everything works out okay. We'll need their:


card number

bank name

mobile number

their first and last name


Don't forget! If their first and last name is the same as yours, the transfer won't go through. They'll also need to have either a Chinese ID or passport, or a Macau, Hong Kong or Taiwan pass. Note that the receiver's bank account must be associated with UnionPay debt card (with 62 prefix).
Receiver Registration may be required if bank card number is not found in CP database or UPI Database. 

Don't forget that to send money you could need your token or an OTP (One Time Password/Security code usually sent by your bank by SMS) if requested from your bank.
