How to Provide Your Identification
If you want to send more than 1.000 HRK within a 12-month period, we will need to verify your identity.
After that is finished, your send limit will increase to 5.000 EUR per 3-day period.
Here is how it works:
Step 1: Choose “I want to send money regularly” on the review page of your money transfer. You will receive a letter from us
Step 2: Follow the directions in the letter and fill out the confirmation form.
Step 3: Copy or scan both sides of your photo ID. Make sure your picture, signature, birthdate, and expiry date are visible. Passport, National identity card, EU/EEA identity card are acceptable.
Step 4: Sign and date the confirmation form. Your signature must match the one on your photo ID.
Step 5: Send all documents to Western Union.
Save your scans as PDFs or JPGs and send an email with the attachments to email@example.com.
Step 6: Log in to your profile to check your identification status. Verification may take several days. When it is complete, we will email you. In meantime, you can send money by visiting a nearby agent location.
*Please send us a COPY of your identification, not the original. Keep the original in a safe place.
