    The amount of money you can send to Turkey from France will depend on your chosen payment and receiver method.

    If you’re sending money directly to a bank account2 in Turkey and paying by online bank transfer or with a credit3/debit card, you can send up to EUR 5,000. If you’re paying by bank transfer, the limit is EUR 50,000.

    To send money for cash pickup, by bank transfer or with a credit3/debit card, your sending limit is EUR 5,000. If you’re paying in cash, you can send up to EUR 6,000.

    To send to a debit card in Turkey, the limit is EUR 2,200.

    Sending money to Turkey online is easy. Simply:

    Before you send money to Turkey online, you’ll need to register for a Western Union Profile. And make sure you have a government-issued ID, such as a passport or driving license on hand to verify your profile.

    • Your receiver’s personal information, such as their name and bank account2
    • A credit3/debit card or your bank account details.

    2. Take a government-issued ID, phone number to the counter, along with your receiver’s bank account2 and personal information. Before transferring money to Turkey, you may need to provide proof regarding your source of funds. To help with this, please ensure you also take a bank statement, tax return or payslip along with you.
    3. Pay for your money transfer with cash or credit3/debit card.
    4. Keep hold of your receipt’s unique tracking number (MTCN). Both you and your receiver can use this to track the funds as they make their way to Turkey.
