How to send money with your Payroll Card

    Start on the Payroll Card portal

    Click on the Western Union® link from your payroll site and log in.

    Select a service

    Select method of service and enter your receiver and payment information.

    Provide payment information

    Enter your payroll card number, expiration date and 3-digit CVV security code from the back.

    Provide pickup information

    Send the MTCN confirmation number to your receiver.

  • If I have a previous account in WU.com, will it work with my payroll card?

    We cannot merge your payroll card profile with a regular WU.com profile. You will need to register from your payroll card site.
  • Can I register with an email previously used in WU.com?

    Yes, please contact Customer Support and request the deactivation of the old profile. Once the old profile has been deactivated, you will be able to register with a previously used email address.
  • What do I do if I forgot my password?

    Click on the Forgot Password link on the login page or contact Customer Support for assistance.
  • Can I use Western Union on my cell phone?

    Yes, the website will work on phone, tablets and PC.
  • Can I use my credit or debit card?

    No, only payroll cards are allowed.
  • Can I send money directly to a bank account?

    Yes, you can send to bank accounts in over 50 countries and territories. Click here for a full list of available direct to bank countries.
  • How do I track a transfer?

    You will be able to see the status of your transactions on the Transaction History page within the site.
  • Do I earn My WU® reward points with this account?

    Yes, you will be automatically enrolled in the My WU® Rewards program when registering through your payroll card site and earn 1 point for every $1 in qualifying transfer fees spent on a single transaction.
  • How do I redeem My WU® points?

    Select My WU® Rewards from the menu bar and follow the steps on the screen.
  • What happens if I lose my payroll card?

    Report the missing payroll card to your payroll team as soon as possible and delete the card from your profile.

Protect yourself from fraud

  • Never leave your payroll card unattended or visible to anyone. It only takes 5-10 seconds for your information to be stolen.

  • Do not share information related to your password, email address, payment information, transaction frequency, or destinations with anyone.

  • Do not click on any links received through email or social media channels asking for account or personal information. Western Union will never ask for your account password.

  • Do not share your account information with anyone. Account profiles should only be accessed by the account owner.
