Sending money at kiosks

You can use the Western Union® International Money Transfer Service from Famiport kiosks at FamilyMart around 17,000 branches of convenience store nationwide, and send up to 300,000 JPY including money transfer in a single transfer. There is no need to set up a bank account – simply pay in cash at the kiosk to send money easily. However, you will need to pre-register.

The service is available every day from 9:00 to 21:00 (excluding service maintenance periods) in 9 languages: Japanese, English, Chinese, Tagalog, Portuguese, Spanish, Vietnamese, Indonesia and Thai.

 

1. To use international money transfer service by Famiport at FamilyMart. You need to register with Western Union® International Money Transfer Service via Convenience Stores to obtain your ID and PASSWORD.
2. The service only provides money transfers from Japan to overseas countries and territories. It does not provide transfers from overseas countries and territories to Japan.
