Want to send money in person? You can send cash from hundreds of thousands of Western Union® agent locations worldwide and 900 agent locations1 in Mali.

Send money from an agent location for a cash pickup

Your receiver can pick up your cash transfer as quick as in minutes6 at one of our 30+ agent locations1 in Guinea-Bissau, or at any of our hundreds of thousands of agent locations around the world.

  1. Go to an agent location. You can find your nearest one here. Make sure to bring a government-issued ID with you.
  2. Pay the transfer fee.
  3. Track your transfer. Upon successful payment, you’ll be given a receipt with your tracking number (MTCN), which you can use to track your transfer.
  4. Inform your receiver. Share the MTCN with your receiver and let them know that the cash is ready for pick-up at one of our agent locations. Do not disclose your money transfer details to anyone except your intended receiver.
Send money from an agent location to a bank account

You can send money directly to your receiver’s bank account around the world. You may also check our direct-to-bank country information to know if this service is available in your destination country.

  1. Know your receiver’s bank details. Typically, you’ll need your receiver’s bank name and code, as well as their bank account number. Learn more about what bank details are needed4.
  2. Go to an agent location. You can find your nearest one here. Make sure to bring a government-issued  ID with you.
  3. Pay the transfer fee.
  4. Track your transfer. Upon successful payment, you’ll be given a receipt with your tracking number (MTCN), which you can use to track your transfer. Do not share your money transfer details with anyone except your intended receiver.

2 Please provide your receiver’s name as it appears on the ID they will be presenting to pick up the money.

3 The transaction will be released only if the payment is received between 9:00 AM & 3:30 PM during bank working days; any transfers which are done thereafter will be only released on the next working day.

4 Please use care when providing bank account information. Funds will be paid into the bank account corresponding to account number you provide. The receiver’s account must be a local currency pay-out account.

5 Excludes receiver’s bank holidays.

6 Funds may be delayed or services unavailable based on certain transaction conditions, including amount sent, destination country, currency availability, regulatory and foreign exchange issues, required receiver action(s), identification requirements, agent location hours, differences in time zones, or selection of delayed options.
