To start sending money online, simply follow the below steps:

1. Log in or register.

First-time users will need to register with us and verify their ID using a mobile number and online verification credentials.

2. Select “Send money”

Once you have created your account, log in and:

  • Enter transfer details, including money collection method.
  • Select payment option, credit or debit card.
  • Review and confirm.

Once completed, you’ll be given a tracking number (MTCN). Use it to track your transfer and share it with your receiver only.

You can send money in person by following the steps below:

1. Visit your nearest Western Union agent location.

2. Share your details
Provide the agent with your full name and a valid government-issued ID.

3. Share your receiver’s details
- Provide the agent with your receiver’s full name, the destination country and the transfer amount.
- Choose how you want your receiver to collect the funds: cash or direct to bank.

4. Pay and send
Once completed, you’ll be given a tracking number (MTCN). Use it to track your transfer and share it with your receiver only.
