Mogul Diversity & Inclusion Award BadgeWestern Union is excited to announce that we have been named one of Mogul’s Top 100 Workplaces with the Greatest Diversity & Inclusion Initiatives in 2020!

According to Mogul—a women-focused social networking platform—the top companies were determined through weighted scoring, with the development and implementation of new practices, support and resources for employees. Social contributions were taken into consideration.

“We’re thrilled to be included in the list of award winners. Our commitment is to provide an inclusive culture that celebrates the unique backgrounds and perspectives of our global teams while reflecting the communities we serve. Our diverse workforce is our strongest asset, helping to foster our core values of being globally minded, purpose-driven, and trustworthy, and respectful. At Western Union, we strive to provide the space to listen & learn, acting on the interest of our employees and customers and creating a culture of belonging.” - Shannon Armbrecht, Head of People Strategy

At Western Union, we strive to ensure all employees thrive in their careers. We also recognize the strategic importance of talent and diversity in our workforce. We invest in innovative programs and tools to identify qualified and diverse job candidates, while providing professional development opportunities to help build careers. And we work hard to reward our employees with competitive compensation and benefits that drive engagement and retention.

Additionally, our talent screening recruitment practices focus on attaining critical skills to drive our organization forward, and on promoting diverse slates of candidates, which are essential to an inclusive workforce. More information about our Diversity and Inclusion program is also available in our second annual environmental, social, and governance (ESG) report.
