How to send money at an agent location

With 10,000+ locations3 in the Philippines, it’s easy to find one near you.

  1. Fill out the Send Form. If you’re sending to a bank account, make sure to include your receiver’s bank name and bank account number.

  2. Give the form to our agent. You’ll also need to give the money you wish to send and show a valid ID.

  3. Pay the transfer fee. Get your receipt and take note of the Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN).

  4. Inform your receiver. Let them know the MTCN and the amount sent. Don’t disclose these details to anyone else.

You can also track your transfer to know if the money has reached your receiver.

How to receive money at an agent location

  1. Get your sender's details. Know your sender's name, the amount sent, and the Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN).

  2. Visit a Western Union location. Make sure to bring a government-issued photo ID and fill out the Receive Form.

  3. Receive the money. And get your receipt.
