The Dyson DC24 Animal is our lightest upright machine designed for pets. It weighs a mere 11.6 lbs, and provides an all around performance at only about 2/3 the size of a regular upright machine. DC24 Animal features Root Cyclone technology, Dyson s patented technology that doesn t lose suction power as you vacuum, as well as Ball technology, allowing you to steer smoothly with a turn of the wrist. What s more is that the handle compresses allowing you to store it in small places. Designed for homes with pets, the DC24 Animal comes complete with a mini turbine head attachment, ideal for removing pet hair from floors, upholstery and awkward spaces. This compact upright vacuum cleaner features a motorized brush bar, driven by an independent motor for better cleaning performance. The fingertip brush control allows you to turn the brush bar on or off at the touch of a button. DC24 Animal has a reversible wand for cleaning awkward areas, and an on-board accessory tool where the nozzle converts to a brush tool for dusting. The clear bin made of tough polycarbonate lets you see when it needs emptying. The bin is also hygienic and quick to empty, which allows for minimal contact with dirt.
