FRONTLINE Plus for Cats provides fast, effective and convenient treatment and control of fleas and ticks for cats and kittens. FRONTLINE Plus stops and prevents infestations and kills adult fleas, flea eggs, and flea larvae. Prevents all flea stages eggs, larvae, pupae from developing. Kills fleas which may cause flea allergy dermatitis. Kills all stages of deer ticks (which may carry Lyme disease), brown dog ticks, American dog ticks, and lone star ticks. Prevents and controls reinfestations. Ticks are more than a nuisance in some cases, they may transmit serious diseases to your cat or even to you. To kill ticks that may carry and transmit these serious diseases, count on the control of FRONTLINE Plus. FRONTLINE Plus For Cats contains fipronil and the insect growth regulator (IGR) (S)-methoprene. Insect growth regulators interrupt or inhibit the life cycle of a pest. Flea eggs and flea larvae that are exposed to (IGR) (S)-methoprene will never develop into the adult jumping, biting and (most important) reproducing fleas. FRONTLINE Plus effectively targets all stages of fleas. Fipronil collects in the oils of the skin and hair follicles, and continues to be released from hair follicles onto the skin and coat, resulting in long-lasting activity against fleas and ticks. FRONTLINE is waterproof, since the active ingredient in FRONTLINE products is stored in the oil glands in the skin, from which it is continuously released onto cats' fur, FRONTLINE remains truly waterproof for 30 days or longer. FRONTLINE is so gentle it is approved for use on kittens 8 weeks or older. It is also approved for breeding, pregnant and lactating cats.
