Three settings: Open to brew a full pot (6-10 cups); Half-Open for 2-5 cups or tea, or Closed to stop the flow of coffee and pour a cup before the end of the cycle. The 9-hole spray-arm on this coffee brewer allows increased water dispersion to thoroughly saturate of grounds.
