 Sending a Western Union Money Transfer® - Money in Minutes transaction from the U.S. online is fast and easy. All you need is a U.S.-based credit or debit card and access to the Internet. Funds availability is based on approved transactions and the hours of operation at the receiving Agent location.
 STEP 1: Receiver Enter Receiver Information The first thing to do is indicate to whom you're sending, how much you're sending, and the city and state where the money will be picked up. (Do not use Western Union directly or indirectly to fund illegal Internet gambling and/or illegal activity.) Registered users enter a user name and password, and automatically skip ahead to Step 3.
 STEP 2: Sender Enter Personal Information and Register In order for us to provide you with better service and faster transactions in the future, new users are required to register before completing a transaction. Enter your information in the form and complete the registration process.
 STEP 3: Services Select Additional Services Choose any of the available services to include with your money transfer. Depending on the pick-up location, these services may include: Do you want Western Union to telephone the receiver when the money has been sent? Would you like to have the money delivered to a certain address? Do you want to include a message with the money?
 STEP 4: Payment Review Amount, Charges and Enter Payment Information You are presented with the total amount due for your transaction, including service charges and extra charges for any selected additional services. If necessary, modify the information where appropriate. Once you're ready, enter your credit card or debit card information.
 STEP 5: Review Review Your Order Review your information and confirm that everything is correct before completing the transaction. If necessary, modify the information where appropriate. Before submitting the payment, please read and agree to the Terms & Conditions regarding this service.
We participate in Verified by Visa, a Visa service designed to help prevent unauthorized use of Visa® cards online. If you participate in the Verified by Visa program, once you submit your transaction, you will be provided with a page that will allow you to enter your Verified by Visa password.
 STEP 6: Receipt Your Receipt Prior to approval, you may be asked to provide additional information.
If additional information is required, you may be asked to call Customer Service at 1-877-989-3268 to complete your transaction.
Upon approval of your payment information, the transaction will be sent. You will be emailed a final receipt containing your Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN) confirming the transaction. Your transaction may be subject to additional validations.
Once the money has been transferred, the receiver may pick up the funds. At any time after completing your transaction, you can return to westernunion.com and click on Order Status to find out if the funds have been picked up or not.
