How to Send Money Online with the Economy Option
Sending a Western Union Money Transfer transaction using our Economy service is easy.

STEP 1: Enter Receiver Information

STEP 2: Sign In or Register
New online consumers are required to register. Registering will save you time on future transactions. Registered users can sign in and skip to Step 3.
STEP 3: Enter Phone Number and Promotional Codes
Enter a phone number where we can contact you (if necessary) and any Western Union® Rewards Card or other promotional codes you may have.
STEP 4: Enter Payment Information
Enter your Visa® or MasterCard® credit2 or debit card information.
STEP 5: Review Your Order
Review your information and confirm that everything is correct.
Before submitting your transaction, please read and agree to the Terms & Conditions regarding this service.
We participate in Verified by Visa® and MasterCard SecureCode®, programs designed to help prevent unauthorized use of Visa and MasterCard cards online. If you participate in the Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode programs, you will be provided with a page that will allow you to enter your password and continue with your money transfer.
STEP 6: Print Your Receipt
Your receipt contains a Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN) which can be used to track the status of your order.
If we need additional information to approve your transaction, you will see a note on your receipt to call customer service at 1-877-989-3268. Once your payment is approved, your transaction will be sent and generally it will be available within three bank business days. We will email you a final receipt confirming your transaction.
