TWO WAYS TO ENTER: 1) Automatic Entry: Each time you send a Western Union® Money in Minutes transfer from a participating U.S. Agent location to any of the following participating corridors (Egypt, Lebanon, Yemen, Jordan, Palestine, Sudan, Bahrain, Iraq, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria ,United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Turkey) (the “Qualifying Transaction”) during the promotional period from 12:00:01 A.M (ET) on August 17, 2009 to 11:59:50 p.m. (ET) November 28, 2009, you will automatically receive an entry into the sweepstakes. Entrant is deemed to be the person whose name appears as “Sender” on the “To Send Money” form. A transaction will not increase your chances of winning. 2) Mail-in Entry: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. To enter the sweepstakes without sending a Qualifying Transaction hand print your complete name, address and phone number on a piece of paper and mail to Western Union Ramadan-Eid Brand Act Sweepstakes, P. The weekly sweepstakes random drawing will be held under the supervision of Marden-Kane, Inc., an independent judging organization. Each preceding week’s unsuccessful entries will qualify for a draw in the next week along with the new entries for that week. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received.
WEEKLY PRIZES: There will be a total of Fourteen (14) prize drawings with one (1) winner selected each week. Each weekly prize winner will receive one (1) VOUCHER (valued at $1,800.00) redeemable for air ticket travel to the winner’s choice of destination. Confirmation of flight dates and times will be at the sole discretion of the designated travel agency issuing the air tickets. Western Union is not responsible for arranging dates and times of travel. All airfare is subject to availability. Black out periods may apply. All other expenses such as ground transportation, accommodation, meals, travel documentation fees, airport fees and taxes, spending money and additional travel beyond the destination mentioned on the Air Ticket will be the sole responsibility of the winner. It is the winner’s responsibility to have current travel documentation such as a passport, visa or other required documents for travelling as well as the appropriate inoculations prior to travel. Value of prize is $1,800.00 including all airport fees and taxes. Any amount exceeding $1,800.00 is the sole responsibility of the winner. Total value of all prizes $25,200. Taxes, if any, are the responsibility of the winners. Prizes to be awarded in the form of a voucher valued at $1,800.00. Vouchers must be activated by December 31, 2010. GENERAL RULES: Sweepstakes is open only to legal US residents who are 18 years of age or older as of August 17, 2009. Employees of Western Union, its Agents, the Judges, their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, or any other suppliers to Western Union and their immediate families and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate. All Federal, State and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited by law. If a winner is deemed a minor in his/her state of residence, prize will be awarded in the name of the winner’s parent or legal guardian. Prize winners will be contacted by mail and/or telephone, utilizing information the entrant provided on the Western Union “To Send” form and mail-in entry. Prize winners will be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility/Publicity/Travel and Liability Release, where required, within 7 days of notification. Noncompliance within this time period will result in disqualification. Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Western Union and its agencies to use winner’s name and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. By accepting a prize, winner agrees to hold Western Union, it Agents, the Judges, their affiliates, subsidiaries and their respective directors, officers, employees and assigns, harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of the use of the prize. Winners assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this promotion or use or redemption of any prize. By participating in this promotion entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Judges which shall be final and binding.
